Privacy Policy: EngineLog
Effective date: July 1, 2026
OVERVIEW
EngineLog is developed and published by Polar Punk Digital, based in California, United States. This Privacy Policy explains how EngineLog handles information when you use the app.
EngineLog is designed as an offline-first vehicle maintenance tracker. Most information you enter is stored locally on your device, including vehicle details, mileage, service logs, reminders, costs, notes, receipt images, and custom vehicle images.
We do not require account registration. We do not operate cloud sync at this time. We do not sell your personal information.
Information You Provide
EngineLog may store information you manually enter, such as vehicle nicknames, make, model, year, VIN, license plate, mileage, purchase details, service history, maintenance costs, reminders, notes, receipt photos, and custom vehicle photos.
How Information Is Stored
Your app data is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, back up, restore, or share it. If you delete the app, clear app data, lose your device, or fail to back up your data, your records may be lost.
Photos And Receipts
If you choose to add receipt photos or vehicle images, EngineLog uses your device’s photo picker to let you select images. These images are used only for app features you choose to use.
Purchases
EngineLog may offer Pro features or premium icon packs through Google Play or Apple App Store. Purchases are processed by the app store platform, not directly by EngineLog. We do not receive or store your full payment card information.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, EngineLog may schedule local reminders for services, mileage updates, or maintenance tasks. Notification delivery depends on your device settings, operating system, permissions, and battery settings.
Data Exports And Backups
If you export a PDF, backup file, or other data from EngineLog, you are responsible for where that file is saved or shared. Exported files may contain personal or vehicle-related information.
Contact Links
EngineLog may include links to websites developed and published by Polar Punk Digital, such as support, contact, privacy, or terms pages. Opening these links may use your browser and may be subject to the website’s own hosting or analytics behavior, if any.
Children’s Privacy
EngineLog is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
California Privacy Notice
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under California privacy laws, including the right to know, delete, correct, or limit certain uses of personal information, depending on whether those laws apply to our business. Terms of Use: EngineLog
Effective date: July 1, 2026
Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to EngineLog, an app developed and published by Polar Punk Digital, based in California, United States. By downloading, accessing, or using EngineLog, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
EngineLog is a vehicle maintenance tracking app that helps users record vehicles, mileage, service logs, reminders, receipts, costs, and related maintenance information. EngineLog is provided for personal organization and informational purposes only.
EngineLog does not provide professional automotive, mechanical, financial, legal, warranty, or safety advice. Service intervals, reminders, cost summaries, and maintenance suggestions are general tools only and may not match your vehicle manufacturer’s official recommendations. You are responsible for checking your owner’s manual, manufacturer guidance, warranty terms, and advice from qualified automotive professionals.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into EngineLog, including mileage, service dates, costs, reminders, vehicle details, receipts, and notes. We are not responsible for missed maintenance, incorrect records, vehicle damage, repair costs, safety issues, warranty issues, or other losses caused by relying on incorrect, incomplete, delayed, or outdated information.
EngineLog stores most app data locally on your device unless you choose to export, back up, restore, or share that data. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. If you delete the app, reset your device, lose your device, or clear local data, your stored information may be lost.
Notifications and reminders are provided as a convenience only. Delivery may depend on your device settings, operating system, battery settings, notification permissions, time zone, and other factors outside our control. EngineLog does not guarantee that reminders or notifications will always be delivered or delivered on time.
Some features may require a one-time Pro purchase or separate in-app purchases, such as premium icon packs. Purchases are handled through the app store platform where you obtained the app. Refunds, billing issues, purchase restoration, and payment disputes may be subject to Google Play or Apple App Store policies.
You may upload or attach content such as vehicle photos or receipt images. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any content you add to the app. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
You agree not to misuse EngineLog, interfere with the app’s operation, attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app except where allowed by law, or use the app for unlawful purposes.
EngineLog may rely on third-party platforms or services, including Google Play, Apple services, mobile operating system features, app store billing systems, and device-level notification systems. We are not responsible for third-party service outages, policy changes, billing systems, or device behavior.
Your use of EngineLog is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
EngineLog is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, missed reminders, repair costs, vehicle damage, or other losses related to your use of the app.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection, privacy, or other laws that cannot legally be waived.
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of EngineLog at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of EngineLog after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute related to these Terms or EngineLog will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
For questions about these terms, contact Polar Punk Digital through the contact page.
